A Summer to Remember

The "Antonin in the Rhythms of Summer" event was one of the most joyful and vibrant events our Foundation has ever organised. Set against the beautiful natural surroundings of Antonin at the "Lido" Holiday Centre, the event drew families, volunteers, musicians, and supporters from across the region — all coming together for one young boy named Maks.

The summer atmosphere was electric. Music filled the air from morning to evening, children played freely on the grounds, and the spirit of generosity was everywhere you looked. This was a day when the entire community showed up — and showed what it means to truly care for one another.

Music, Activities, and Community

The programme for the day was packed with activities that brought joy to every age group:

  • Live musical performances across multiple stages throughout the day
  • Children's play zones with supervised activities and entertainment
  • A charity auction featuring items donated by local businesses and supporters
  • Food and refreshments provided by volunteers and local producers
  • A raffle with meaningful prizes
  • Storytelling and updates about Maks's journey, shared with the community

The "Lido" Holiday Centre provided the perfect setting — spacious, welcoming, and surrounded by the natural beauty that makes Antonin such a special place.

All for Maks

Every ticket sold, every bid placed at auction, every donation dropped into a collection box — all of it went directly to support Maks and his family. The funds raised at this event contributed meaningfully to covering the costs of his ongoing treatment and care.

Maks's family attended the event and were visibly moved by the scale of the support they received. Their gratitude was expressed not just in words, but in the tears and embraces shared with the volunteers and donors who made the day possible.
